Every year Tychy reviews theatre at the Edinburgh Fringe; generally, but not exclusively, student theatre and new writing. This year we are back with Hamlet for the artwork. I hope that I will come to like this rather too jolly image and be able to co-exist with it on peaceful terms throughout the whole of August.

The normal caveats apply. Tychy, despite previous appearances, is not a dependable Fringe diary – the computer might break, the money might run out, or my employer might dictate that the business needs me to be on the premises, rather than away at the Fringe. But notwithstanding such mights, Tychy@ the Fringe intends to gallivant off fearlessly in search of adventure and enlightenment at this year’s Fringe.

From last year: “How to be a Theatre Critic at the Edinburgh Fringe.”
